Last Sunday we had a visitor looking for information on the Dysart Coast Guard, unfortunately he left without finding anything.
However after looking through some of our archive we discovered there was a Dysart Coastguard in Nether Street.
These pictures were given to us by a J Hunter back in 2008.
The man sitting is George Dean Chief Officer, the Grandfather of J Hunter. The other gents are Hopcroft, Temple and Button ca. 1932/33. The man on his own is William Robert Hopcroft 1919.
This is what we know so far. If anyone has any more information please let us know.
